History
This family owned and operated business was originally known as Daniel's Lawn Care when it was started in the Fall of 2004. It was changed to Appomattox River Landscapes in January 2010 when we decided to focous more on Landscape Design and Installation.
Starting out with the family lawn equipment, I began distributing homemade business cards to friends and neighbors. The business began as solely a lawn maintainence company until landscaping was added to the list of services in the Fall of 2006 when a lawn customer wanted the dying azaleas in front of her house replaced with new plantings including a low retaining wall. Since then we have expanded and now offer over twenty different services so that you need only deal with one company in beautifying and maintaining your landscape. In the past five years I have designed and, with the part-time help of my dad, installed numerous retaining walls and landscapes, refurbished the lawn and landscape on dozens of local properties, maintained over 25 different lawns, and have accumulated a continually growing list of satisfied customers.
